Tax Hokey Pokey

The beauty of tv and videos everywhere is the ability to play it back later. Throughout Obama's campaign, he stated over and over that there would be no new taxes on 95% of Americans.

When he pushed through his Obamacare agenda, the mandated fines were denied as being a tax. Now that the bill is being challenged in courts, the administration now declares the bill to be Constitutional based upon the ability to tax via the 16th amendment.

In addition, the current debate on allowing the Bush tax cuts to expire, will in effect be an increase in taxes on all Americans.

Obama is playing the hokey pokey with taxes and shaking it all about to try to create a distraction. But at the rate that he is spending, we are doomed for new excessive taxes.

Those old Obama campaign videos of no new taxes should be very useful for his opponent in the next campaign. I can't wait to see Obama try to talk his way out of this one.
