Govt Guarantees Death by Taxes From Health Care

In the game of dominoes, when the first one is knocked over, each domino proceeds to knock down the one behind it. The same holds true for corporate America as the first dominoes have fallen on companies like AT&T and Caterpillar due to the increased taxes from the health care bill. While AT&T becomes the company for whom the bell doesn't toll, Caterpillar will now rot in it's cocoon instead of morphing into a butterfly.

How are the increased taxes impacting these companies? In simple terms, accounting change rules require a change to be recorded when a law goes into effect, not at the point in the future when the cash is actually spent. Therefore, the future taxes extorted from these companies will be recorded in the first quarter of 2010 financial statements. Isn't that just special?

Of course Waxman has called a hearing of these companies' CEOs to meet with him and the other mob bullies in Washington. What they will learn is that the accounting rules are set by the FASB (Financial Accounting Standards Board) not Congress, and that Waxman and his mob cannot just coerce these companies into submission. We'll see how that turns out since the mob seems determined to fight to the death.

As it stands right now, as noted by the Heritage Foundation these are just the first side effects. There is a lot more on the horizon.
http://blog.heritage.org/2010/03/30/morning-bell-1-billion-att-headache-is-just-obamacares-first-side-effect/?utm_source=Newsletter&utm_medium=Email&utm_campaign=Morning%2BBell

The companies noted here are just a sampling. The first quarter results of all public companies will be victims of the "change" promised by Obama, and no doubt be posting first quarter losses resulting from the impact.
http://www.gop.gov/blog/10/03/29/an-overdose-of-job-killing

The results of this is actually multi-dimensional. The stock market will most likely experience a decline as companies post these losses. Investors will react by either selling or refraining from future investments. Less investments or lower stock value means less capital for companies to use to expand and grow, and the economy will continue to shrink.

This is only the beginning though, as these are only estimated losses. Reality will kick in later, as the estimates are re-analyzed, and no doubt additional losses will be incurred.

Of course, these companies could recover these losses. So, what are their options?
- Option 1: Companies would lay off employees, thus increasing the number of unemployed Americans, in order to try to achieve a profit.
- Option 2: Companies would pass off these increased taxes to the consumer, resulting in all products and services costing you more (including the cost of health care), and less demand for everything other than necessities, since consumers have a budget, earn the same salaries, and will not have more money to spend.

Both of these options impact demand as they will both result in the consumer having less money to spend. Less money spent results in less revenue earned by companies. When companies make less money, they lay off workers, thus increasing the number of unemployment which decreases demand, and the cycle continues on a downward spiral.

It becomes a vicious cycle without an end in sight, until companies shrink to the point of bankruptcy. Death by taxes becomes a self fulfilling prophecy, thanks to the government take over of health care.

Oh, but let's not stop there! Let's kick everyone while they are down. Just in case companies use their American ingenuity to find ways to survive, Obama wants to double down. Under the guise of reform, Obama plans to inflict additional wounds on Wall Street to ensure that companies bleed to death.
http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0310/35216.html

No doubt, Obama the SuperZero will rush out of his Ratcave and "rescue" everyone with government bailouts until the government owns everything.

Obama, Pelosi, Reid and all the other traitors in the house and senate have knocked down the first dominoes, and the rest of the companies will follow, continuing until they achieve their end game when the last domino falls with our economic collapse. Game over. These are the worst players for our nation. We need new players to start a new course and send the dominoes in a better direction. It is time to call this game and start a new one. The new game is scheduled to start in November.

The Path to Military Dictatorship

While Americans were fighting tooth and nail with all their might to stop the passing of the government takeover of our health care, it seems that McCain and Lieberman were up to putting their own little notch in their belt for tyranny.

What exactly is wrong with our government representatives? Do their brains function at all?

May I present exhibit A:

S.3081 - Enemy Belligerent, Interrogation, Detention, and Prosecution Act of 2010
"A bill to provide for the interrogation and detention of enemy belligerents who commit hostile acts against the United States, to establish certain limitations on the prosecution of such belligerents for such acts, and for other purposes."

You can read the bill here.
http://www.opencongress.org/bill/111-s3081/text?version=is&nid=t0:is:49#

Now, luckily, this bill hasn't passed yet, but if they do, this will buy us a one way ticket to a military dictatorship.

The bill is another power grab for the president. As commander in chief, he will have the sole authority to order anyone to be arrested, interrogated, imprisoned, and authorize them to be held indefinitely, based upon the sole suspicion that the person is affiliated with terrorism. This includes US citizens.

If someone is suspicious, there should be an investigation, and then questioned by authorities if there are findings. But this clause makes me so livid and outraged, there aren't enough words to express it. It says suspects:
"may be detained without criminal charges and without trial for the duration of hostilities against the United States or its coalition partners."

Will US citizens be held in internment camps, imprisoned like they do to citizens in Cuba?

Of course, they make it seem innocent and that it is in our best interest to protect us. I am sure that is the story told to the people by all rising dictatorships.

While foreigners do not have constitutional rights, what about the constitutional rights of US citizens?

If this passes, then just based upon suspicion, you can be arrested without being charged for a crime, without evidence, and without a trial? And then be held indefinitely?

This is so frightening. The way the current administration is stomping on the constitution and treating patriotic Americans expressing their dissent to the government takeover of banks, insurance companies and now health care, what is to stop them from just arresting people that disagree with them?

Our founding fathers must be turning over in their graves. No wonder there are so many earthquakes. This is the criteria for a police state and the actions that would be taken in a military dictatorship. Yet, where is the media on this? Is anyone out there paying attention? Wake up America while you are still somewhat free, before you wake up in a detention camp.

Health Care Bill - The Sickle Cell Clause Is Harmful to America's Health

Sickle cell is a dangerous disease that stops the flow of blood. It is a health crisis for the patient who is inflicted with sickle cell.

Just as sickle cell is constricting, the health care bill has a clause which will inflict such a crisis on Americans, thus cutting off the lifeblood of our nation. In fact, it is so constricting that one could argue that it morphs into the communist symbol of the hammer and sickle.

This is not a far fetched analysis, when one considers section 5210, titled "Establishing a Ready Reserve Corps," the force must be ready for "involuntary calls to active duty during national emergencies and public health crises."
http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=132001

The reserve consists of 6000 officers appointed by the president at a cost of $5,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2010 through 2014 for recruitment and training and $12,500,000 for each of fiscal years 2010 through 2014. That is $17,500,00 per year. That is a lot money for a near insolvent nation.

The section establishing a ready reserve corp may look innocent on the surface, but it isn't. You can see it here.
http://democrats.senate.gov/reform/patient-protection-affordable-care-act-as-passed.pdf

This section, when combined with the executive order 12766 and the GIVE Act, is very unsettling, as it creates the civilian national security force that Obama spoke about in his campaign.

Here is the clip of that campaign promise, which the media of course ignored and was negligent in their reporting of Obama.

Here are two videos for training and recruitment, of the brainwashed civilian security force and and how citizens will be asked to pledge their loyalty to Obama. It sounds like something Hitler would have done.

The GIVE Act, also intended to look innocent but isn't, creates another way to recruit and brainwash our youth, with mandatory paid volunteers. "Paid" volunteers? What is that? Isn't "mandatory" against the enslavement clause in the constitution?
You can read the bill here. http://www.opencongress.org/bill/111-h1388/show

While an executive order is not legislation, executive order 12766 is disturbing to say the least. It establishes a 10 governor panel, appointed by the president and accountable to no one.
"When appointed, the Council will be reviewing such matters as involving the National Guard of the various States; homeland defence; civil support; synchronization and integration of State and Federal military activities in the United States; and other matters of mutual interest pertaining to National Guard, homeland defence, and civil support activities."
http://shutking.blogspot.com/2010/01/breaking-news-obama-signs-martial-law.html

One of these items alone is very disturbing. But when you consider them all in conjunction with each other, it will probably leave you unable to sleep soundly again, as well as give you nightmares.

What does a ready reserve corp have to do with health care? Why do we need the GIVE Act mandating paid volunteers? Furthermore, the US already has our armed forces along with the national guard, in addition to police, fire fighters, EMS, and even FEMA. Why do we need a civilian army? Even more disturbing, why do we need a civilian security force and governors as security guards, all solely appointed by the president and accountable to no one? And why do they have to be available and ready involuntarily for national emergencies? Who will decide what is a national emergency?

Text, Lies, and Videotape

A friend of mine sent me this video of Rep. Weiner. I couldn't let this one go without comment. While the video is a mere 5-6 minutes long, what it really says speaks volumes.

We already know that Weiner is lying. It has been discussed and disclosed ad nauseum already that the IRS will need to hire 16,000 people at an estimated cost of 10 billion to monitor health care compliance and extort penalties from the unsuspecting public, both individuals and companies alike.

As I watched Weiner play his verbal shell game of avoidance, lies, spin, and speaking in circles, something else occurred to me, in addition to his lies. It is the potential truth in his lies which is even more revealing, which people might have missed and may have gone unnoticed. So I feel compelled to point it out in case you missed it.

If I were to take Weiner's statements as true, and there will be no enforcement of payment of the penalties, that means the government would not be collecting the penalties. If the government does not collect the estimated penalties imposed, that means that the planned revenue will not be collected to offset the costs. This would result in the health care bill costing even more than they admit. Not surprisingly, Weiner unknowingly revealed this in his spin.

So I was curious as to what this would mean and consulted the CBO opinion. (I know, what could be more fun than reading that?)

Upon reviewing the CBO information available, while reading the text, I realized a lot can be said by reading in between the lines. Just as an analysis can be made from what it says, it occurred to me that what is doesn't say is even more alarming.

Just for fun, you can read it too.
http://www.cbo.gov/ftpdocs/113xx/doc11379/Manager'sAmendmenttoReconciliationProposal.pdf
So, what doesn't it say? Without having you gloss over from finance terms, I will try to keep this basic.

If we look at table 2, described as "changes in revenue", (you should understand that "change in revenue" is not actual revenue. It is a net effect.) That being said, this table discloses that there is 525 billion (net) revenues in fees and taxes. If there is no monitoring and enforcement, as Weiner claims, then this net revenue will not be collected and the cost of the bill really costs 525 billion more.

If we look at the bottom of table 4, the effect of these penalties as revenues are factored into the deficit reduction calculation. So there is an extra 150 billion (938 less 788) that they are claiming they will receive as revenues. But if there is no enforcement as per Weiner, than this 150 billion will increase the deficit when it is not collected.

Of course, the CBO report contradicts Weiner's comments on IRS involvement, as noted on page 11:
"CBO expects that the cost to the Internal Revenue Service of
implementing the eligibility determination, documentation, and
verification processes for premium and cost sharing subsidies would probably be between $5 billion and $10 billion over 10 years."

Also, don't overlook this extra special little tidbit on page 14:
"The reconciliation proposal and H.R. 3590 would maintain and put into effect a number of policies that might be difficult to sustain over a long period of time."

Really? Somehow, this disclosure was not discussed or mentioned anywhere, but should have been. Instead, we keep hearing the same soundbite repeatedly at how the bill is so great and will save money over time and reduce the deficit. What a load of crap if there ever was one. One can easily foresee higher costs and an even further bloated government bureaucracy in trying to implement and maintain this debacle.

Then there are the amounts that I couldn't possible quantify. Unlike what the government claims, insurance companies actually only make about 2% profit. The bill does nothing to control health care costs. Real health care reform would have been a bill for tort reform and state portability. With this bill, there is no state to state competition and the malpractice premiums and litigation awards will still be exorbitant. Doctor bills include the cost of the malpractice insurance, and your premiums will rise, as insurance companies still need to factor in the damages paid in court cases. The bill determines what insurance companies will be reimbursed from the government for coverage, but the insurance companies costs are still going to be the same or more. This will result in squeezing the insurance companies into bankruptcy and lead to a full government takeover as the single payer. When this happens, the government will further extort more money from the taxpayer in taxes, to cover the costs of health care.

I have some side comments regarding the IRS on this.
- As someone who has dealt with the IRS on a professional level, they are grossly incompetent and incapable of carrying out compliance for all the convoluted laws that already exist.
- A person can call the IRS, ask a question, and receive an answer. The same person can call again, ask the same question, but receive a different answer. They rarely put any opinion in writing, leaving the taxpayer unable to rely on their statement. This means the taxpayer is stuck trying to comply with a moving target.
- Prior to this law, the IRS has had the ability to freeze and even levy your bank account. This will not change with this bill, for which compliance is vague. Therefore, just as a criminal may rob you at gunpoint, the IRS can steal money from your bank account at their sole discretion, or freeze your account thus preventing you from accessing your own money to pay bills.
- This cost of 10 billion is 10 billion that is extorted from taxpayers and not spent on health care. When you take revenues and spend it on frivolous costs, the cost of the real product is higher since it is not offset by said revenues.

I also have my own personal thoughts on Weiner which are unfavorable at best. I attended his town hall last August. He spun his web of lies then, just as he does now. The whole thing was a circus, but I would like to mention something that Weiner said, that stuck in my brain and I will not forget. The crowd was disputing Weiner's comments with actual facts, and objecting to the health care bill. Weiner replied with "sometimes it is not about what you want". Oh really, Weiner? Um, yes it is. It is about we the people, and your job is to be a representative of the people, not a ruler, dictator, and tyrant.

The below link is a bit of citizen coverage on the event.
http://thesilentmajority.wordpress.com/2009/08/14/anthony-weiner-new-yorks-9th-districttown-hall-meeting-8-12-09/

In summary, my short observations of Weiner, are that much like an actual hot dog. He is all fillers and no real meat. Keeping him around is definitely bad for your health and he should be tossed.

Code Red Rally, Bloody Sunday, & Those Who Were Suffocated

I attended the Code Red Rally on Saturday at the Capitol. There were about 50,0000 people there. Those on the east coast went by bus, car, and trains. Buses also came from the south and mid-west, including Indiana, Iowa, Ohio, Illinois, Nebraska, Kentucky, Tennessee, Texas, Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Wisconsin, and Michigan, to name a few. There was even one man from Oregon who flew in on short notice.

Keep in mind that this was on two days notice. These were regular every day folks. These are people that work for a living. These are people that probably can't afford to take off from work or bear the expense of such a trip. But they know they can't afford "free" health care, so they dropped everything and went. These are people that love their country so much, that they made the sacrifice.

For every American that did make it there, there are thousands that were unable to make the trip, perhaps due to the distance, the cost, family obligations, etc. The blogosphere was filled with comments of those wishing that they could attend and thanking those of us that made it there.

Congress, however, refuses to acknowledge that the people that were there are not the only folks that were against this bill. They ignored the 100,000 calls they received per hour from their constituents, along with the thousands of emails, letters, faxes, and office visits.

Some rally attendees attempted to visit their representative's offices. The republican offices were opened and they were welcomed inside. The democratic offices were either closed or manned by the occasional intern, but none of the traitors were available to face we the people.

Those attendees who remained outside, made sure that Congress would hear them. They chanted such things as "we the people", kill the bill", in November, we'll remember, hey hey hey, goodbye", "Nancy, come on out", "can you hear us now", and "just say no".

As we the people stood out on the lawn trying to make the traitors hear the voices of America, occasionally, one of the rats would come out of their nest onto the balcony to see us. None of them had the backbone to jump and face we the people. They actually made me think about the irony of it all. They already think that they our are rulers, not our representatives. So it is quite symbolic, that the tyrants would stand up on their lofty balcony, as if they are looking down upon their peasant subjects.

While the people outside were being ignored, Congress was inside carrying out last minute bribes, selling their souls to the devil, implementing their Marxist regime, and nailing a nail in the coffin of the United States and suffocating the people.

I'd like to offer a tribute to my fellow patriots, and my appreciation for those who made the sacrifice at personal expense to save the nation. Below are the pictures, so you can see the patriots for yourself, all every day folks. Many of the signs had so many great messages. It was impossible to photograph them all, or photograph all 50,000 of them. So I have compiled a sample of these patriots who participated and posted them on The Left Isn't Right's facebook fan page.

http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=196797&id=363426033938&l=2115d00365

As for Congress, they ignored the will of the people when they passed the unconstitutional health care bill on Sunday, committing treason against the nation and breaching their fiduciary duty to represent the people that put them in office. To me, this serves as a basis to impeach them now. Why wait for elections?

Free Health Care But No Heart Surgery

I am wondering if the democrats in the house and senate have no soul. Recent behavior demonstrates that they are willing to sacrifice their soul in order to achieve tyranny and fundamentally transform America from a free nation to an enslaved one.

It is amazing at how much they are lying, cheating, and stealing to pass a health care bill that no one wants but them. Although they portray the reason they want it is altruistic, we the people know it is to achieve their goal of tyranny. And the results will be deadly. In a tyrannical regime, the state decides of you live or die based upon your estimated remaining useful life as if you were a piece of equipment in a factory.

Since the leftists love to hail other nations with universal health care as if they are utopia, I think it cannot be discussed enough at what a disaster universal health care really is, and what it means for the citizens, with their lives literally dependant upon it.

All one has to do is google a few times, and one can be inundated with articles and stories documenting that the ideological demo of universal health care is not representative of reality.

In Britain, the media repeatedly reports on the failures and shortcomings of the NHS. Yet this is exactly what Obama, Pelosi, and Reid want to implement in the US.

The headline for this article says it all. The reality is that even with a 60% tax rate in England, there is not enough money to pay for "free" health care. So how does the NHS cut costs? They ration care. If there aren't enough beds for patients, said patients cannot receive any health care treatment. That is how they cut costs.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/health/healthnews/7455589/NHS-should-cut-30000-beds-to-save-money-think-tank-warns.html

This one is indicative at what happens with rationing. There isn't enough money to pay health care professionals to provide treatment, so there aren't enough doctors. So health care is "free", but from cost cutting there isn't actually enough doctors to provide treatment. If you need heart surgery, good luck. Although it would be "free", you won't be able to get a doctor to do it.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-174249/Britains-NHS-heart-failure.html

There are those who think the situation in Britain could not happen here. Please consider the survey reported this week, in which almost half of the doctors said that they would retire if the bill is passed.

http://dailycaller.com/2010/03/17/medicus-survey-finds-doctors-do-not-like-this-health-care-bill-one-bit/

So the lefty marxists will add 30 million people including 12 million aliens to the health care plan, force taxpayers to pay for the looters to get "free" health care, and there will instantly be half as many doctors available to treat patients.

Sure, they will tell you no one will be denied care, but that doesn't mean there will be anyone there to treat you.

The Health care bill, a Stealth Tax on Your Wealth

Obama's health care bill proposal includes an increase in medicare taxes on unearned income. Somehow, Obama thinks this fools Americans into the "saving money and reduced costs" illusion for health care and honors his campaign promise for the 95% of Americans who won't have to pay tax. Ah, the whitehouse calculator is at it again with their fuzzy math.

What does this mean to the average citizen? How will this work and impact you?

For starters, anyone that has gotten a paycheck knows that they have to pay payroll taxes, including those that are self employed. Either way, the employee pays social security and medicare taxes on their wages and earned income.

Under current law:
- the social security tax rate is 6.2% of wages (paid on wages up to $106,800)
- the medicare tax rate is 1.45% of wages (no wage limit for the medicare tax)

Most people may not realize that the employer also has to match both those taxes and pay the same amount that the employee pays. In other words, if you pay $100 for these taxes, your employer also pays $100, resulting in the government collecting $200. So if you think about how much you pay, the employer is also paying an equal amount. Higher taxes impact and impair the company's ability to give you a raise or hire more people, or force them to lay people off because they cannot afford the tax.

For those of you who are so inclined, you can read about this tax law here.
http://www.irs.gov/publications/p15/ar02.html#en_US_publink1000202402

The important point here is that by law, wages are subject to employment taxes. Wages are also subject to income tax, in addition to the employment taxes. Your unearned income (i.e. interest, dividends, capital gains) is subject to income tax. Your unearned income is not wages, and is therefore not subject to employment taxes.

Obama's health care bill changes all that. Now he wants you to pay medicare tax, which is an employment tax, on your non-payroll income. They snuck this change to the tax law into the health care bill.

Of course, Obama sells this as "only" taxing the "wealthy". This is one of those big lies. As with any socialistic policy, eventually the government will run out of other people's money, and start tapping into others to satisfy it's expanding spending addiction. To prove this point, I invite you to look at this social security and medicare tax chart of rates and wage limits from 1937 to 2006.
http://www.ssa.gov/history/pdf/t2a3.pdf

In 1937, the wage limit was $3000 and the tax rate was 1%. Gradually the wage limits and the rates were increased. Up until 1990, the wage limit was the same for both taxes. Then, all that changed. The government needed more money, so they raised the medicare wage limit to more than double the social security tax wage limit. A few years later, the medicare wage limit was removed and there is no limit.

So maybe you are thinking, so what, I don't make that much money. Remember that the government just keeps spending. The government doesn't cut back on expenses, it just taxes you more. Go back and look at the chart. The chart shows how they keep taxing you more. Regardless of how much you make, you are subject to higher taxes every year.

So if you think Obama's health care bill adding a payroll tax on non-payroll income is only taxing the wealthy and won't impact you, think again. Eventually, the government will have their grubby hands in your pockets.

Keep in mind that the health care bill takes your hard earned money from you to give services to others for free. So in the government's eyes, if you have anything to take, you fall into the wealthy category. Eventually, there won't be anyone to take it from or anything left to take. This doesn't stop the whitehouse calculator with their fuzzy math though, as they continue to project savings and reduced costs. But if they keep taxing you more, how is that a savings and reduced costs for you? It isn't. The health care bill contains a stealth tax on your wealth, whatever that may be or lack thereof, until you have have nothing.

Congress Places Citizen Under Duress by Extortion

Congress has committed their fair share of crimes. Now we can add duress and extortion to the list if they pass this health care bill. The crime victim, will be the US citizen.

How is this bill placing us under duress?
Duress is defined as forcible restraint or restriction, compulsion by threat, unlawful constraint.
The health care bill creates 111 government bureaucracies including advisory committees, panels, and boards dictating what health care a citizen gets, whether they get it, when they get it, and how much they get. The citizen will have no say in the matter. The medical experts caring for the citizen will have no say in the matter. Therefore, Congress is forcibly restraining the US citizen, and thus placing the US citizen under duress.

How is this bill placing us under duress by extortion?
Extortion is the unlawful exaction of money or property through intimidation, a gross overcharge, especially the offense committed by an official engaging in such practice.
The health care bill also contains clauses for tax penalties for failure to buy insurance. The US citizen is threatened with an exorbitant fine, and will also be forced via intimidation and threats to buy insurance at the grossly overpriced government cost. Therefore, Congress is placing the US Citizen under duress by extortion with this bill.

Is this anything new? No. Duress was termed in the 15th century and extortion was termed in the 14th century. While officials have been committing these crimes for centuries, that certainly doesn't justify Congress committing these crimes now.

Now, the current mechanism by which Congress will commit these crimes is by a scheme to "deem" the health care bill as passed, so as to avoid a vote, and then proceed with reconciliation later.

So it seems that in addition to Congress enacting a bill that is unconstitutional via a process that is unconstitutional, but also by doing so, Congress will place the US citizen under duress by extortion.

Congress is committing criminal activities right out in the open. The only house that should hold Congress is the jail house, because that's where criminals reside. I think it is time for a citizen's arrest. The sentencing will be held in November.

Pelosi-palooza

It is almost spring break. News shows frequently contain stories of drunken parties, immoral depraved behavior, and other sordid details of activities one might soon regret. Yes, it is true, Americans are now witnessing the spring break show of "Congress-Gone-Wild".

Last week, Pelosi apparently was seeking "certain assurances" from the Senate regarding their commitment to pass a reconciliation bill, if the House goes along with the current Senate health care bill as is.

Pelosi stated in her press conference:
“With reconciliation, a simple majority, a constitutional majority, I think members are much more comfortable with the fact that this reconciliation will happen. Nonetheless, there are certain assurances that they want, and that we will get from [Senate Democrats] before I ask them to take the vote. Any hesitation anybody might have about do they trust the Senate is offset by the great mission that they have [to provide] health care for all Americans. It will take a little faith. But what we do always does.”

In other words, Pelosi wants to bypass the constitutional legislative process and wants to be sure the Senate will cooperate in resolving the differences between the bills and that the House will get what it wants. To fuel the delusion in their political drunken stupor, as of today the democrats in the budget committee are working on the band-aid fix it bill.

The issue, however, is more complicated than it seems.

The Senate already had the House bill when the Senate created it's own bill. If the Senate found the House bill to be acceptable, why didn't they vote on it instead of creating another bill? And if the Senate coerces the House into accepting the Senate bill as is, why would the Senate have any incentive to reconcile afterwards? Reconcile to what? The Senate already got what it wanted. There will be no legal legislative process requiring a reconciliation and nothing to force the Senate into negotiating one.

It is ludicrous. Even if the two biggest bullies in the playground duke it out, only one of them is going to come out on top. So while the biggest bully may promise to play nice tomorrow, there is no reason to believe that promise will be honored. The same holds true in a totalitarian state. While there may be many pawns in the game, only one is going to get its way.

So while the Pelosi lemmings are etching out their band-aid fix it bill, Pelosi arranges her Pelosi-palooza party coercing other House democrats into sordid activities they'll soon regret, such as the immoral depraved behavior of voting for an unconstitutional bill they know their constituents vehemently reject. For the people, the real fix is already in. The real Pelosi-palooza party is Pelosi throwing her own party - under the bus. So be sure to watch Congress-Gone-Wild as they behave recklessly and throw all caution into the wind. Mark your calendars. The video is expected to be released in November, right about election time.

Coffee Party Day Brewed a Weak Pot

The left's idiotic "Coffee Party" apparently attempted to hold a National Coffee Party yesterday. Despite all the free promotion from the propaganda pushing lame stream media, the coffee party brewed up a weak pot.

According to the Coffee Party USA website, most events had fewer than 20 attendees. This is certainly not from lacking publicity. Whether or not they admit it, the lack of attendance is because the coffee party is based on a socialistic platform.

The coffee party, in addition to truly being astroturf as paid Obama supporters, is attempting to mimic the tea party movement, but it is destined for failure. The big government spending policies and forfeiture of freedoms is just not going to garnish support from Americans. Americans still believe in the American dream and it doesn't involve any ideology supported by Karl Marx.

The irony is that the coffee party astroturf is referring to the American Revolution as a basis for their political activism. Try as they might, the coffee party cannot possibly duplicate the tea party. Clearly these coffee grinders are the result of our failed education system and indoctrination. If the coffee grinders possessed any knowledge whatsoever of America's real history and not the liberal vomit spewed by the leftist academics, they would know and understand that the revolution was spawned by taxation without representation. The colonists did not start a revolution because they thought their tyrant king didn't tax them enough and spend enough of their hard earned money.

The socialistic platform is unamerican to its core. So it is no wonder that the national coffee party was sparsely attended. It seems that the coffee has no grounds in America. When you filter through it all, they were barely able to fill a cup, never mind brew a entire pot, and a weak one at that.

Who are the 36% Who Were Paid Off?

In 2008, 36% of those who filed tax returns did not pay any tax but they received a refund. How could this happen? Was this a clerical error? Unfortunately, no, it wasn't.

In the tax law, there are certain "tax credits", namely the earned income tax credit and the child tax credit. These are not normal tax credits that the average taxpayer would realize. These particular tax credits actually allow tax filers who have not paid any tax to receive a refund.

How can someone get a refund from nothing? Where does this refund money come from? In essence, the refunds paid to the non payers come from the taxpayers that did pay tax. So the other 64% of the population paid off the 36% who paid nothing. This is in addition to all the taxpayer paid services that the 36% have used for free.

So how much did they get in refunds? The total cash paid to these freeloaders was over $70 BILLION!

Now it is only going to get worse. Obama wants to add more "refundable credits" into the tax law, thus increasing the percent of those who pay nothing who will get refunds, taking more from those that do pay tax. Normally people who steal go to jail, but these tax credits are legalized theft and allowing people to steal.

How much can be taken from the producers and paid to the freeloaders before the number of freeloaders exceeds the number of producers?

The 36% is already at a dangerous level. With the increases in unemployment in 2009 and 2010, that percent will only get higher. Increasing the amount of refundable credits will expand this percent exponentially. At some point, there will not be enough producers to carry the weight of the looters. This is income redistribution by stealth and will destroy what is left of our free market system. We are getting closer and closer to tyranny and being a dependency state. I wonder what the 36% will do when there is no one left to pay them to do nothing.

Just Send Them to Slaughter

Talk about beating a dead horse, or shall I say donkey, when referring to the left's antics. It seems that the House Rules Chairman Louise Slaughter apparently thinks she can just pencil in her own rules as if they were rules of debate. Ah, those statists on the left seem to forget there is this pesky Constitution that keeps getting in their way.

Article 1, Section 7 of the constitution states:

Every Bill which shall have passed the House of Representatives and the Senate, shall, before it become a Law, be presented to the President of the United States; If he approve he shall sign it, but if not he shall return it, with his Objections to that House in which it shall have originated, who shall enter the Objections at large on their Journal, and proceed to reconsider it. If after such Reconsideration two thirds of that House shall agree to pass the Bill, it shall be sent, together with the Objections, to the other House, by which it shall likewise be reconsidered, and if approved by two thirds of that House, it shall become a Law. But in all such Cases the Votes of both Houses shall be determined by Yeas and Nays, and the Names of the Persons voting for and against the Bill shall be entered on the Journal of each House respectively. If any Bill shall not be returned by the President within ten Days (Sundays excepted) after it shall have been presented to him, the Same shall be a Law, in like Manner as if he had signed it, unless the Congress by their Adjournment prevent its Return, in which Case it shall not be a Law.

In a nutshell, the Constitution, the TRUE rule of law, states that both houses must pass the SAME bill for it to be sent to the executive branch for signature and become law. I would think that the founding fathers specifically wrote this clause to prevent a tyrannical power grab such as Slaughter has tried to pull.

It is beyond belief. First both houses pass bills that are unconstitutional which no one wants. Then there is the threat of reconciliation. Now, we have alleged constitutional scholars, who think they can just go and make up their own rules whenever it suits them, in order to get their own way. They cannot just dodge the rule of law and think it will go unnoticed.

Then there is the consent of the governed. But no matter how much they lie, cheat, and bribe, they can't gain support for this one. So they decided to try just making up rules as they go along, as if they were children in a playground making up a new game. Can you just smell their desperation? Or perhaps, that is really just that the herd of donkeys are starting to smell like one.

The people know that rationed healthcare will deprive them of care and their right to life, thus shortening their life spans. So I guess that if left unchallenged, the Slaughter House Rules will indirectly just send the American people to slaughter. I say that come election time, we send the herd of donkeys there instead.

Take the Red Pill and Wash it Down With Kool Aid

I started thinking about Obama's campaign speech declaring it might be better to "take the red pill", implying that someone should no longer get medical care and just wait around to die. Now Obama is peddling his healthcare bill with the mantra that "everyone should have healthcare". So which is it? We get healthcare or we wait around to die?

As mentioned everywhere, the bill is 2,076 pages. The table of contents is 14 pages alone and contains 4,560 words. You can browse through it yourself at this link.

http://www.aapsonline.org/senatebill.pdf

As I was thinking about Obama's campaign speech and contradictions, I decided to perform a quick search for some key words and phrases. Here is what I found.

- The term "advisory committee" is mentioned 12 times.
- The term "advisory board" is mentioned 41 times.
- The term "advisory panel" is mentioned 11 times.
- The term "advisory group" is mentioned 6 times.
- The word "panel" is mentioned 34 times.

To say that this is a government takeover of our healthcare is the biggest lie and understatement of the year. This bill puts the government in control of every decision and every aspect of your lives. Rather than make this post run on for 2,076 pages, I advise you to go to the document and do a search for the above key words. When you get to one, read the clause containing it and try not to fall out of your chair. These will be government appointed panels, boards, and committees. They will be deciding what care you do or do not get, when you get it, and how much you get. Your doctors, medical professionals, and you, will not be involved in the decision making process for your own life.

This would imply that you no longer have a right to life, which we all know is unconstitutional. Only our Creator determines when our time has come, not the government.

Of course, the statist keeps peddling this bill as if it is constitutional, not infriging upon your right to life, and not infringing upon your freedom. The statist will never tell you their true intent. Much like when Jim Jones gave those cult members kool aid to achieve a goal of mass suicide, Obama wants us to take the red pill and wash it down with kool aid.

Patient Literally Dies of Thirst

To Americans, the expression "I am going to die of thirst" is just that, an expression. No one actually expects to die of thirst when they are thirsty, but it can happen and it did. This wasn't a person lost in a desert. This happened right in modern civilization with a plentiful water supply.

When I came across the below news story, it was shocking to learn that a patient literally did die of thirst.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1255858/Neglected-lazy-nurses-Kane-Gorny-22-dying-thirst-rang-police-beg-water.html#

With the US government's intent to takeover healthcare, it is important to point out that this occurred in Britain, where they already have socialized medicine. This is extremely relevant to Americans and our future healthcare, and here is why.

In Britain, the medical staff compensation is not driven by the free markets. With socialized medicine comes rationed care, and this includes the funds available to pay those providing such services. One does not enter the medical field in Britain with the illusion of making a comfortable living. The people in charge of caring for the sick and keeping people alive are not paid very well at all. So it is no surprise that this can affect the level of care one receives.

This is evident after decades of socialized medicine with nominal pay, the medical staff CAN become complacent, inefficient, and possibly negligent, as is the case here. This is not to say that ALL medical staff in Britain are this way. Statistically, that wouldn't be a fair assumption. However, in this particular patient's case, there were 32 people involved in this patient's care and not one of them provided such bare minimum care as to provide the patient with water, especially when this was a critical part of this patient's care and survival.

In this patient's case, this isn't about one person on shift possibly forgetting to check on the patient. People are human and mistakes happen and this isn't one person's mistake. As a whole, this is a blatant disregard of professional duties and neglect of basic care. No one checked on him, and the family member's repeated requests for care were ignored.

In the investigation, it is revealed that this isn't even an isolated case. There were hundreds of deaths resulting from the quality of care or lack thereof. What was the end result of this investigation? Is anyone being prosecuted for negligence? No. They don't even lose their jobs. All the nurses have to do is "sign a public pledge" to "treat everyone with compassion and dignity". So these staff sign a paper to "be nice" and continue to be allowed to be responsible for people's lives. This is outrageous!

Right now, in an American hospital or care facility, patients usually complain that they cannot get enough rest, since the medical staff is frequently visiting them to check on them, poke and prod, take blood, etc. In an American hospital, this typically goes on around the clock, especially each time the staff changes shifts. Anyone who has ever stayed in a hospital or visited a patient can attest to this. Patients look forward to going home so they can get some rest. But at least, as a whole, the medical staff does what they need to do.

This is relevant to Americans, because rationed care will literally change our lives as it has in other nations with socialized medicine, but not in a good way. Our lives will depend on good care. We will be deprived of that and we won't have the ability to obtain it. Apparently, the left is forgetting about our constitutional right to life.

Yes, medical costs are too high in the US and this needs to be addressed. Removing the ban on buying insurance out of state and implementing tort reform for frivolous lawsuits would bring the costs down significantly, making healthcare affordable for all. Socialized medicine and rationed care is not the answer and will not control costs, and the only change will be that we all suffer for it. Personally, I'd rather pay for care than literally die of thirst. Given the public outcry against this healthcare bill, I think most Americans would agree with me.

Healthcare is Buy-Partisan

The Senate healthcare bill has a cost of $2.5 trillion. So what does that buy us and for who?

Some of the known bribes and kickbacks are as follows:
- $300 million "Louisiana Purchase" for Sen. Mary Landrieu's vote
- $100 million "Cornhusker Kickback" for permanently paying Nebraska's medicaid costs for Sen. Ben Nelson's vote
- $500 million for Massachusetts medicaid costs
- $600 million over 10 years for Vermont's medicaid costs for Sen. Bernie Sanders' vote
- $10 billion program to create free medical clinics across the country, also for Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont's vote
- $100 million for a Connecticut hospital for Sen. Chris Dodd’s vote
- Sen. Bill Nelson of Florida won a provision that allows 800,000 Florida seniors enrolled in private Medicare Advantage plans to keep their extra benefits.

However, this all pales in comparison to the buying spree that Obama and Reid have snuck into the bill as they ran amok with America's credit card. The Senate healthcare bill contains $370.2 billion in taxes! Taxpayers will have to start paying for these in 2010, but won't be getting the alleged benefits of such payments until several years from now, if at all.

Since the bill also mandates the plan to taxpayers, and contains penalty taxes for this provision, this will cost Americans an additional $36 billion in taxes.

The bill contains at least a dozen new taxes, all impacting the middle class, such as a 40 percent excise tax on "high value" health care plans of over $8,500 per single and $23,000 per couple. These costs are not "high value". They are the average cost of a plan.

With all the taxes, the CBO estimates that the bill still leaves the DEMs $868 billion short, far from deficit neutral. This is contradictory to Obama's lie told yesterday declaring a savings of $1 trillion.

Since there isn't any cost savings, it is no surprise that there were no Republicans supporting the bill. When they had trouble getting their own side to vote yes, they resorted to all the bribes and kickbacks to buy other DEMs votes and they plan to buy our freedom with the exorbitant taxes. That is not Bipartisan, it is BUY-Partisan.

The irony is the that the bill is called the "Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (H.R. 3590)". The bill is certainly not affordable, and I don't think any American is going to feel protected. In fact, I think we need to protect ourselves from the federal government. They are robbing us blind.

DEM Massa Exodus

With all of the shenanigans today and last week, Massa ended up resigning anyway. I can't help but think it wasn't all an orchestrated plan of distraction from the real issues at hand.

Massa first said his reasons were cancer. Then he is under investigation for an ethics violation. Then folks started rallying to get him to stay to save a no vote for the healthcare bill. Then he resigned anyway. Massa is only a symptom to a bigger problem.

So far, we have DEMs dying, announcing not to run again, ethics violations, indictments, criminal prosecutions, and voting against the people's wishes knowing it will mean they will not get re-elected. The DEMs are having a mass exodus, but they still keep driving that train into the volcano. Any sensible person would quit while they are behind. But they don't. Why? Because they know that sacrificing themselves in the volcano will please their socialist demons and achieve oppression for the long term.

Of course the DEMs know they can't show the true face of their evil master plans. People already see through it. The DEMs plans aren't selling. Obama is so desperate, he is out on the campaign trail again, trying to sell his plan. He refuses to admit people will not allow themselves to be taken over. So they create the Massa hokey pokey of a resignation to waste time and distract the nation, so that the date set for a vote gets closer. If the DEMs vote for this healthcare plan, the mass exodus they have now will look like a small parade. Come election time, the donkeys will be trampled on by the elephants in a stampede. Bring it on.

Iraq's Berlin Wall Falls Silent

Democratic elections were held in Iraq today. Regardless of the outcome, great history was made. Hopefully, the Iraqi citizens utilized their new freedom to choose who was best to serve them and guide the young democracy in the right direction for it's future.

In recognition of the significance of the Iraqi elections, Obama gave a brief speech from the Rose Garden today. While it was complete with all the rhetoric Obama could muster, it was missing one very significant statement, and frankly it is embarrassing.

Unless my hearing went or TOTUS skipped a few lines, I don't believe I heard Obama thank General Petraeus along with President Bush and his administration for this great accomplishment. If it wasn't for Bush and the surge led by the General, this would never have happened. While Obama cannot deny declaring that the surge would not work, history is now written that it did. Where was this acknowledgment and gratefulness to Bush, Petraeus and the troops expressed in Obama's speech today?

Obama could have bit his tongue and made a little noise about it. Instead, I heard crickets.

A great leadership quality is to give credit where credit is due. Clearly, Obama has demonstrated that he doesn't possess this quality on many occasions and today is just another example. In fact, it demonstrates that he is clearly lacking in character altogether.

Obama should have taken a recess from his whining and blaming Bush, and graciously thanked Bush for this historic event. This was not the resolution of a minor scuffle. As we all know, the middle east is a major conflict, and has been for decades. This was a resolution of major significance. While there are still conflicts in the region, this is a step in the right direction.

Iraq will be a democracy and an ally of the west. Those who accomplish such things should be recognized. Ronald Reagan is accredited with ending the cold war, and will be remembered for his symbolic quote of "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall" for the fall of the Berlin wall separating the east and the west. Now, when history is written, it will accredit Bush with tearing down Iraq's "Berlin Wall". Yet, when Obama gave his speech today, he fell silent. It's a small man, a small man indeed, who cannot give credit where credit is due.

Hospitals Reusing Needles

Hospitals reusing needles. Can you imagine? As an American, it is unfathomable. Or maybe not.

In 1997, I visited Russia. The newly free nation, just 8 years post the fall of communist rule, was trying to rebuild itself. After decades of communist rule in which the government controlled everything, I learned about the people's "free" healthcare system. My tour guide was open to sharing everything about her country, their life before and after, and their culture. She casually mentioned that the Russian hospitals reuse needles. She informed us that unless a patient had the money for new equipment, that the hospital reused what they had. It was shocking. I had read that AIDS was at epidemic levels in Russia, and now I knew why.

That was then. So I would have thought that it would have improved by now. But this year at CPAC, there was a young Russian student attending school here, who spoke about the hospitals reusing needles, urinary catheters, and a bunch of other things that are unspeakable. It is now 21 years after the fall of communism, and the "free" healthcare system is still at an unacceptable by American standards.

With all the discussions about reconciliation to push through government controlled healthcare, I recalled the stories from then and now and started to wonder. Russia was bankrupt in 1989 and there was no money to pay for anything. It is kind of where we are now. The Obama, Reid, and Pelosi statist trio are spending the nation into bankruptcy and intend to force government healthcare upon us at a cost of 1 trillion dollars that we don't have. There won't be any money to pay for it. We all know this will result in rationing. But where will that really leave us? Will we become Russia, and only Americans with money will be able to buy the equipment needed to obtain quality care for themselves? I know it sounds extreme. But on the other hand, what American would imagine any hospital anywhere reusing needles?

Fuzzy Math on Unemployment

Today the BLS released the official unemployment for February to be 9.7% or 14.9 million people. But that isn't the REAL unemployment. Conveniently, they don't tell the truth anymore and they know it.

Are you wondering who started reporting lies? No, it wasn't Obama. But it was another leftist president who said "it depends on what the meaning of 'is' is", who must have decided to parlay that into the definition of "unemployment" when he was re-writing the dictionary. So in an effort to mask the truth, the Clinton administration changed the way BLS calculates unemployment statistics by excluding "discouraged workers," meaning those who had given up looking for a job because there were no jobs to be found. Ever since then, the unemployment statistics have been a lie.

While living the lie and in complete denial, apparently Harry Reid thinks it is really good news that the "reported" job loss of "only" 36,000 is worthy of celebration. Obama declared it "better than expected". I don't think anyone should be celebrating. What would the 36,000 people say to Reid or Obama, given the opportunity? What would Reid or Obama say if the REAL unemployment were declared outright and not buried in the BLS website reports?

You can review all the reports here if you have the stomach for it.
http://www.bls.gov/news.release/empsit.nr0.htm?utm_source=Newsletter&utm_medium=Email&utm_campaign=Morning%2BBell

Granted, all these reports are confusing. Perhaps they are meant to be that way, to throw you off the course and prevent you from seeing the truth.

So what is the real unemployment? As per shadow stats, http://www.shadowstats.com/ ,the below chart provides us with the real unemployment statistics.

As you can see from the chart, the "official" unemployment is 9.7%, but the real unemployment is just under 22%!

So while they have reported the "official" total of unemployed to be 14.9 million, they have conveniently excluded an additional 11.3 million people from the "official" unemployment numbers. This is who got left out:
- 8.8 million working part time (resulting from hours being cut or those unable to find a full-time job)
- 2.5 million marginally attached to the labor force (not counted as unemployed discouraged workers, not currently looking for work because they believe no jobs are available for them)

This puts the actual unemployment at 26.2 million or 22%. That is a lot of people. The great depression had between 12-15 million unemployed or 25-30%. That was before Clinton's fuzzy math when they counted all of the work force.

To add fuel to the fire, there is an estimated 12 million illegal immigrants that are taking jobs away from the 26.2 million unemployed Americans. If those jobs were held by Americans, that would cut our real unemployment in half.

The real unemployment is now nearing the dangerous levels of the great depression. Despite all this, Obama continues on his crusade for socialized medicine, amnesty for illegal immigrants, and spending the nation into bankruptcy. All the while, he simultaneously declares all of this will cut costs, create jobs, and decrease the deficit. Once again, the fuzzy math on the whitehouse calculator is getting the administration all confused, and the fuzzy math on the unemployment is only making it worse.

You Vwill Do Vwat I Vwant!

I came across this Reagan/Obama "debate" and thought it was worth viewing given the current state of affairs. To no surprise, Reagan was wise and Obama is disturbing.

Reagan said:
"One of the traditional methods of imposing statism or socialism on a people has been by way of medicine. It’s very easy to disguise a medical program as a humanitarian project, most people are a little reluctant to oppose anything that suggests medical care for people who possibly can’t afford it."

Obama said:
"We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America".

Reagan was a beacon of freedom. Obama is clearly the anti-Reagan if there ever was one.

I don't think Obama supporters understood what Obama meant when he said he was going to fundamentally transform America, block by block. And thanks to the MSM for covering up any truth about Obama prior to the election, the 2001 radio clip in which he declares the Constitution to be fundamentally flawed was brushed under the rug.

I found it interesting that Obama referenced those calling him socialistic. If you refer to my post where Obama posed in the Socialist party's newspaper as a member, you will see his photos. To this day, Obama continues to deny he is a socialist. Actions speak louder than words and a picture tells the true story.

The first 13 months of Obama's term has been mobster-like in getting his way. He presses forward despite public opinion on the issues. Right now, the polls show that approximately 75% of the population opposes the healthcare bill. While the people do want reform, they do not want government control of healthcare or socialized medicine. But Obama does not care what people want and has instructed the House and Senate to vote. It is absolutely dictatorial, which brings me to a horrifying comparison.

This next clip is interesting when watched after watching Obama speak in the first clip. The similarities are frightening. I am NOT saying that Obama is planning to commit mass murder on millions of people, but no one anticipated what Hitler would do either. People thought Hitler would rule from the middle once elected, and they were wrong. The same holds true for Obama. When you look at this clip, note how the people supported Hitler. Listen to Hitler's manipulative words with intent to control the people and wanted people to just do as he said. When Hitler spoke, he presented a scenario that he was for the people and doing it all for the people, and not for the power. Sadly, history now tells a different story.

Now consider Obama's words after watching both clips. Obama's speeches are also manipulative. His behavior is with the intent to control the people. With his mobster-like behavior, he wants you to forfeit your freedom and just obey. Unlike in Hitler's time, we the people realize what is happening, and hopefully not before it is too late. America is at a crossroads in Her history. The warning bells are ringing loud and clear. If you read in between the lines, in Hitler speak, Obama is saying "You Vwill Do Vwat I Vwant!". Will the people shrink down and obey? Will we become a dictatorship with Obama at the helm or will we restore the Republic as a free nation?

Wrangling in Rangel?

Although Rangel still claims innocence, I was somewhat surprised that Charles Rangel stepped down this morning as Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee as a result of the ethics violations charges. I thought he was going to pull a Spitzer or Blago, denying the charges until the bitter end when everyone knows he did it.

Of course, yesterday Pelosi was standing by him publicly. However, I suspect that just like the healthcare bill, there were some backroom deals being concocted for political survival. I am sure we will find out what they cooked up in due course. The left will never surrender, even when they are caught with their hand in the till.

Aside from the denial, what truly amazes me is the arrogance. If someone in corporate America used company funds to pay for something non-business related, it would be called embezzlement. The person would be indicted and would probably earn themselves some jail time. Somehow, they think they are above it all.

Alas, embezzlement isn't Rangel's only crime though, so why stop there? What else do we have? Hmmm, let's see.

We can add fraud to the list since he also is being investigated for his ownership of several rent-controlled apartments in New York.

We can then add tax evasion to the list since he failed to pay taxes on an offshore rental property.

Then there is also his breach of fiduciary duty and public trust for his use of office letterhead to solicit donations for a public-policy school that would bear his name.

Wow, that is quite a laundry list of crimes. To recap, so far we have embezzlement, fraud, tax evasion, and breach of fiduciary duty and public trust. These are only the crimes that are known. I wonder what else there is. Chances are that he didn't stop there. It will be interesting to see what the investigations turn up.

Overall, it is disturbing since if a regular citizen committed these crimes, or God forbid a Republican, the left would be screaming from the rafters for justice and jail time. But the leftist politicians seem to think the rules don't apply to them. Even when there is surmountable evidence, they still seem to get away with their crimes.

So the question is this. Will they be successful in wrangling in Rangel? Or will he still be riding the bull in the ring despite all the red flags, and continue kicking us in the face?

Pork Projects Bunning Could Toss

Yesterday Senator Bunning was taking some heat for rejecting the so-called "jobs bill" that would cost $10 billion. Bunning said “If we can’t find $10 billion to pay for something we all support, we will never pay for anything on the floor of this U.S. Senate.” The administration reacted with Press Secretary Gibbs called Bunning "irrational". Is being fiscally responsible considered irrational? Bunning has a point. It seems Gibbs is really the irrational one.

Where will we get the money to pay for it? Well, I have some suggestions. Here is a sample of some of the 2009 pork projects where the government has spent your hard earned taxpayers dollars and borrowed increasing the deficit, all in the name of pork.

$17,245,000 Yazoo Basin-Delta Headwaters project
$17,048,000 Lake Sakakawea project
$17,000,000 Sault Ste. Marie replacement lock

I don't know about you, but just reading it made my eyes gloss over. Unfortunately, there is way more than this. There were actually 10,160 pork barrel projects in 2009totaling $19.6 billion. Of this, there were 221 anonymous projects totalling $7.8 billion for which the requester could not be identified. You can peruse them yourself at http://www.cagw.org/ which is the Citizens Against Government Waste website. Be sure to check out the 2009 Pig Book.

This is just a sample. This is just what is designated as earmarks. This doesn't include all the other unconstitutional wasteful spending in the budget. It is sickening.

So who are really irrational ones here? I would say it is the House and Senate for spending this money and the administration for signing the bills. Who will be the irrational ones? It will be the American people if we continue to re-elect these porkers.

Coffee is the New Astroturf

Just when you think liberals can't sink any lower, they do. It is like they are having their own Olympics for Losers runoff championship and are going for the gold.

Recently, I read that the left started a website as the anti-tea party, declaring that the tea party is over. That's funny, because the tea party movement is growing, not disappearing into oblivion. Somehow, that doesn't stop the left from declaring something and expecting the populous to blindly follow, such as spending 3 trillion dollars and claiming the spending will shrink the deficit. It's as if they take out a mortgage, but they think bank pays them.

The left creating the anti-tea party just proves that they don't understand the tea party movement at all. The tea party movement is about fiscal responsibility. Until elected representatives start walking the walk, not just talking the talk, we the people will be voting them out and replacing them with better representation.

We all know the left lives in an imaginary world already but this new development is just so entertaining. Apparently, there is a new "coffee party". Huh? If TEA stands for taxed enough already, Liber-TEA, and is symbolic to the Boston Tea Party, what is the coffee party supposed to be? There is no historic significance. Is it an acronym for "Can Obama Fudge Finance Excessively Everyday"? Or perhaps Pelosi's life felt empty without astroturf. Since she couldn't claim the tea parties which are genuine, maybe she created the coffee party to fill the void. That must be it. Coffee is the new astroturf.
